    Probably the best Malay restaurant in town with a grand setting. Their buffet has a large selection (e.g. satay, durian bubur, roti canai, rendang, rojak, etc). As majority of their patrons are foreigners, their food is tuned down, not spicy or hot for foreigners. They have a 45 minutes cultural dance which start at 2045 hours, is idea for entertaining foreign guests.

  • Nasi Lemak, Tanglin Hospital.
    May be the best nasi lemak in town, certainly a very popular place for breakfast.

  • House of Sundanese Food, KLCC
    The Sundanese (West Jawa, not Africa) specialities in town, we tried bar-b-que fish, chicken curry and fried taupok, and find the food good. Reservation is recommended for lunch hour.

  • Restoran Kari Kepala Ikan E&O
    This restaurant is over 15 years old and is popular with its fish head curry (from RM18).

  • Seri Angkasa, KL Tower
    This revolving restaurant is located at KL Tower Head about 250m above ground. Speed of revolution is about 1 cycle per hour. Although this restaurant is managed by Seri Melayu, they serve buffet (local and western) and western a la carte. We tried the buffet dinner which include fresh olyster, smoked salmon, cold cut, soups, rojak, satay, roast, curries, desserts, coffee, etc. As food is not the major attraction to this place, we recommend this place for entertaining foreign visitors. Reservation is recommended and entrance ticket is included in the meal.
